AVIATION TRAINING & CONSULTING SERVICES
Studies show that more than 80% of aviation accidents involve human factors considerations such as human error, rather than pure mechanical or technical causes. From a flight operation perspective, it has been found that crew errors include complacency, mode confusion, cognitive overload, complex decision making under high stress, interpersonal communication issues etc. (Flight crew error can be operationally defined as “crew action or inaction that leads to deviation from crew or organizational intentions or expectations” Helmreich, Klinect &Wilhelm, 1999).
Multiple positive approaches have evolved over time to establish countermeasures that focus on human performance issues and error reduction strategies. Awareness programs such as Human Factors (HF), Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) were subsequently introduced and are now well established programs within the aviation industry. In most countries such programs are a mandatory regulatory requirement. Additionally, the introduction of Safety Management Systems ensures high-level management accountability for flight safety while aiming for a realistic and efficient balance between safety and profitability.

CONFERENCES & SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
"I have worked with Katie and OneCrew for 15 years and have experienced the product delivered at an excellent level year on year. The level of instruction, service and highly tailored approaches are second to none. Human Factors, CRM and Security are fundamental in aviation and employing a specialist to delve into these important topics can provide value in compounding ways across the organisation.
Further, my colleagues and I personally learnt to become more impactful trainers by unlocking the secrets to making presentations interactive, engaging and motivating. Katie will assess one's needs and create a perfect blend of topics, at times joining with third-parties to add extra enrichment, to deliver a program that perfectly suits the organisation's or individual's needs.
I would not hesitate to recommend Katie and OneCrew to any small or large aviation organisation - whether working one-on-one or in groups, face-to-face in person or online virtual." ~ Wesley Reid, Manager Flight Training, Metrojet Ltd., Hong Kong
"We have worked with Katharine Ng and OneCrew for almost a decade and she has without fault delivered highly qualitative CRM training and Aviation Security courses. The material is always updated and reflective of the most recent ideas, practices and regulatory requirements and include pertinent case studies and practice-oriented discussions. I can highly recommend Katharine and her team" ~ Malcolm Preece, Director Flight Operations, SkyShuttle Helicopters Ltd, East Asia Airlines Ltd., Macau
"It was great to attend the CRM training by OneCrew. Katharine has the ability to keep CRM up-to-date and keeps adapting the course content in order to stay in touch with the ever changing Aviation climate. Even after attending Airline and Business Jet CRM courses over the last 25 years, this course felt refreshing and had a healthy amount of coaching in personal development attached to it." ~ Edwin Hogervorst, Director of Flight Operations, Jet Aviation Business Jets, Hong Kong
"Katie is a great trainer. She always works with the operator to customize the training, tailor it to address the operator’s specific needs so participants receive a high quality and valuable training session, not just another ‘cookie cutter’ training in the industry. Katie is extremely knowledgeable in Aviation Safety and Human Factors. I know I can always count on her for advice on Human Factors training strategies and resources and she’s always open and willing to help. I’m so happy and honored to have had the opportunity to work with Katie and that our relationship has grown from customer/service provider to good friends and remains close professionally and personally even after I relocated. I strongly recommend Katie and her exceptional team to anyone who’s looking at aviation safety/human factor training for corporate/commercial aviation." ~ Joanne Wong, Director of Quality, Security, Environment, Health and Safety, Jet Aviation Flight Services East, USA
"I have been working with OneCrew for 8 consecutive years now and the CRM courses that Katharine and her team developed have been the best I have undertaken for decades.
As business jet operator, most of the CRM courses that have been proposed to us were mainly directed to and for airlines, OneCrew has been the only provider in Asia that has managed to adapt the CRM to business jet operators specific and provide very valuable and interactive courses that have been innovative and lateral thinking in her approach to various subjects. I cannot thank Katharine and her OneCrew team enough for their help in keeping our operation and Crew more professional, and our situation awareness regarding the safety of the Operation wide open." ~ Patrick Tardieu, Chief Pilot, Vision Values Aviation, Hong Kong

"I am extremely grateful to Katie for bringing out the best in me during her 2 year tenure as Cebu Pacific’s Human Factors Advisor/Consultant. She was able to mold me, with much precision, to become a good Human Factors facilitator and later, was able to urge me, guide me, support me in becoming a Crew Resource Management program developer (the new 'best practice' program is now being delivered to the entire cabin crew, flight deck crew and flight dispatch community). Katie’s unending support and guidance has given me more strengths in being a facilitator and her magic made me discover my own magic. All of these are doors that she opened for me, and it paved way to me becoming Cabin Crew of the Year for 2018. And I thank Katie for being a huge part of that!" ~ M.J. Aquino, Human Factors Facilitator & Cabin Crew Supervisor, Cebu Pacific Air, Philippines
